Inspire Roundtable - Sydney March 2023

· Events

Today I had my fifth' Inspire Roundtable' in Sydney with 12 other incredible women in the
hospitality industry.

A shout out to themall for joining and sharing their experiences, insights and stories from their
careers in the hospitality industry.

Thank you to Amandaa nd Nicole from Ovolo for hosting us this morning at the Ovolo Woolloomooloo.

An hour and half just flew by and here are some of the themes of our discussion: Internal expectations and the standards we set for ourselves, hospitality husbands and the key role they play not only in our home life, but our careers as well, it takes a village to raise a family, parental leave, great support in the
workplace, what does flexibility look like in an operational role, aspiring female GMs, allyship and resource groups, changes in the young generation coming through the workforce, getting your mentor, men's club, self-awareness, women promoting other women, calling out the behaviours, finding your sponsors and so much more.

I am so impressedand inspired by these women, leaders in each of their fields and how their
stories will inspire future generation of both women and men in our industry. I cannot wait to have them for the podcast.
